THE TALE OF THE ROBIN AND THE SWALLOW
Once upon a time there was a singing robin named Mimmi who lived on the highest branches of a big oak. He didn’t much enjoy himself singing alone to the sunrise and there weren’t any friends to whistle a song with in the woods . He decided to move to another forest and said goodbye to the frogs in the lake, the heron in the river and the squirrels in the surrounding trees. He caught the six-o'clock flight hiding inside a blond, thin girl's purse who was accompanied by a bald, fat man. The trip was a little tiring 'cause her mirrow and her brush weren't very soft. Mimmi managed to sleep a few hours on the opened make up box and when he got out he was completely covered in make up and profumed. The two people got into a taxi
and Mimmi felt happy when he understood that the car was heading towards Central Park. He flew through the open window and reached a great tree that was waiting for him with opened arms. He began to sing and a swallow with " PRHYA" written on her wings came near him. Strangely, she was also named "Mimmi". From this moment on, they always sang together and were never apart. All the animals in the park couldn't understand: How could a robin love a swallow? They answered :" we love each other because we share the same soul although we have two different hearts.”
