Spirit Guide

The Spirit Guide concept merges into the notion of the Guardian Angel present in the Christian tradition, the winged guide that protects our lives.

During meditation or trance it is possible to connect with this inner Master and receive its luminous teachings. The Spirit Guide is, in reality, a projection of ourselves; the attainment of our Self beyond the boundaries of the rational mind.

Very often, under hypnosis, patients tell of Old Sages, Wise Men or Saints who offer profound truths.

History:

The Spirit Guide is defined in Ancient India as Ishta, Devata, tutelary deity or meditation deity. The Tibetan version, of probable native origin, is Yi-dam, the inner divinity that allows us access to the condition of purity and liberation obtainable by exceeding the rational mind.
